I want to share my ethernet internet connection over AirPort on my MBP, but I'd much prefer the SSID be not broadcasted. It doesn't seem to be a built-in features, but is this somehow possible?

Have you gone into the router's configuration program, and just can't find it? Or are you wondering how to get into the configuration program (in my case, I have to type in 192.168.0.1 in the address line of my browser)?
If you have gotten into the configuration program, and just can't find where to disable SSID broadcasting, it might help if you post the make and model of your router.
