Hi guys,

I'm currently getting 50hz over DP at 3440x1440 but am yearning for the sharpness of HiDPI. Has anyone found a decent HiDPI resolution to use on a super-wide monitor? Or has anyone got any ideas what it might be?

Cheers :)

Is this one of those 32" displays? HiDPI first and foremost means that the display combines a traditional viewing area with a very high resolution. At this resolution, we are talking about a 20" or smaller (ideally 16"-17") display. Otherwise HiDPI does not make any sense here — you can't pretend that your display has more pixels than it actually does.

yeah, you speak the truth. i think i was just trying to keep the amazing clarity of HiDPI on my new screen.

thanks for the reply :)
