I've spent the better part of the morning looking for a good to-do app for the mac that will sync with my iPhone. I often will have brainstorms out of nowhere and need a quick and easy way to get the ideas down before they're lost.
I loved the old Outlook for PC which allowed you to quickly type in tasks into the task list, then you could drag and drop them into task folders and subfolders. So easy.
Notebook by Circus Ponies is great for brainstorming as it uses collapsable hierarchal lists. However there's no way to sync it to iPhone and I don't like to wait for an app to launch to enter in ideas.
Entourage is ok, but it doesn't work in a hierarchal fashion. Same with "Things". I'd love to have the hierarchal list on the left and the task details on the right.
Up until now I"ve been using Bento for Mac/iPhone but it takes too long to get to the information i need: launch, enter password, sort through dozens of databases to find my to-do list, click subfolder, duplicate existing task, edit data ... bah .... too long.
Any suggestions?
