Hi everyone,
So I've got this friend of mine who has stumbled upon a pretty major issue with his MacBook Pro. A process called 'com.apple.InputMethodKit...' is using a lot of CPU time, resulting in like only 3 hours of battery life. Obviously he wants to get it solved. I directed him to Apple Support as I couldn't find much about this particular issue myself, but decided as well to ask it here at Macrumors.
So anyone who is familiar with this issue and knows a (potential) solution?
I've issued a screenshot he made of the process in Activity Monitor. He's got this exact Mac: 15-inch MacBook Pro (mid 2012).
