I think one or two other people have had similar issues. The video goes HD in full screen where you can really see the problem.
I had lines flickering across the screen (not just within the application window, but over the entire screen) when a video was being played. They seemed to stop or be less obvious when the video was not playing and the CPU wasn't being taxed quite as hard. I open Utility Monitor towards the end of the video just to check what was going on.
This seems hardware/video card based. Would showing the video at an Apple Store be worth it? I worry this is an underlying problem that may not crop up again for a while but may bite me in the arse a few years down the line with some sort of hardware failure. Are they likely to replace a Macbook with these issues even if the problem's not reproducible?
