Hi Huys,

I searched on google and forums and think I almost tried every method, but this driving me crazy. My fan is constantly on for a while now when I use it. I thought it was just old.

I have a:
Macbook 5,1 (First 13" aluminium unibody end 2008)
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, 4GB Ram, 500GB HDD

I finally used Bootcamp and installed windows 7 for different reasons and what do you know......Fan is off. This made me thinking and I searched what the problem could be. I found something about iStat and activity monitor and tried and looked at is for a few minutes.

%CPU is between 60-100% all the time for something that is called python (process name) user (that's my macbook's name). Even when I reboot my macbook when doing nothing. I tried resetting PRAM and something else where I had to shut down my macbook and press ctrl+option+shift+power for a few seconds and also onyx. I am not very handy and maybe used it wrong.

I tried deleting programs and eventually I turned off my airport and after 10-20 seconds Python is gone and my fan also stops after a few minutes. I tried this a couple of time with the same results. My battery time is also screwed because of the CPU usage. What could be the problem that my airport is doing this??

I tried using an ethernet cable and it's the same Python %CPU between 60-100%

Please help me guys..... Many Thanks
