Banking on the event that this iMac eventually comes, I'd be interested in getting some high definition media for it.
Unfortunately, the only drive I have found for it is the OWC $550 Blu-Ray drive that can write to BR. Since I have no intention of writing Blu-Ray discs, I don't want to pay for the premium of such a peripheral.
I'm guessing that it's due to the copy protection and the lack of software that drives appear to be so rare. Is there anything I can do yet?

Apple offers a lot of its movie trailers in 720p and 1080p, for instance... (and if you thought I meant anything more sinister than that by 'download', that's your own guilty mind :p)
