High End 15" vs 17"...$300 worth the upgrade

Hey everyone,

I am going to be getting either the new 15" or 17" MBP. I was wondering if anyone thinks the $300 price difference between the two would be worth the upgrade. The only differences I'm seeing are the bigger display, higher resolution, extra USB port, and the express slot instead of SDXC. For those who have had both 15" and 17", do you notice a huge difference between the two?

I would never consider a 17" if I had plans on ever using it as a mobile computer. 17" is obnoxiously large, impossible to use on an airplane, and annoying to use anywhere other than on a proper table.

100% agree 17" is too big

The 17" is more comfortable to work on for extended periods of time, if portability isn't an issue. I have friends with the 17" which carry them around all the time, and they don't seem to have a problem, however if you need it to be portable then the 15" is probably the one to go for.
