I asked this question once before, but I'm going to try asking it the other way around this time; there's a thread in the Apple forums on it.
So far, only four people have reported the problem, but it's identical for all four, and all of them have a dual 2GHz G5 with more than 2GB of RAM (at least two, maybe all, also have a Radeon 9800). Basically, if you let your G5 sit for long enough (or sleep it a certain number of times--not clear which), netstat goes berserk.
If you run it using Network Utility and ask it for routing table info, it'll drop into an infinite loop and stall the app. Or, at some point, a background process launches netstat, which subsequently goes berserk and chews up 100% of a CPU.
So, since I know there are other Dual G5 owners on here, I'm wondering if any of you HAVEN'T seen this. If so, what's your configuration? Less than 2GB RAM? No DHCP? No 9800? Anything?
