For several days now, they've had these machines listed:
http://www.microcenter.com/product/505047/MBP_1529I7-16G-1T_TB_SG
It's listed at $2449, and the description is given only as
Apple MBP 15"2.9I7/16G/1T TB SG
which to me sounds like a 15" 2016 model with the upgraded i7, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB SSD in Space Grey. If that's the case, then that would be quite a deal.
What's weird is, the listings are otherwise totally devoid of information. No detailed specs, not even an actual Apple model number. But they do show quantities in stock at the store here in Kansas City, for several models, including what looks like a high-spec 13" w/ i7, 16GB, and 1TB.
Just thought I'd share, since even though these are the 2016 model (right?) that's still an amazing price, close to $1,000 off, for a new machine with a full warranty. Pretty sure the 15" w/ the upgraded i7 and 1TB SSD clocks in around $3500 new.
