Hey,

In Activity Monitor, my Memory Pressure is constantly red/yellow indicating something is wrong. Anyway I can reduce this as this machine is crawling currently.

What year/model Mac and how much memory do you have installed? Is this a new problem?

Open Activity Monitor and go to the memory tab and sort the memory column like in my screenshot so we can see what is using your memory.

I'll post the screenshot when I get back to the machine later. It's a mid 2011 iMac 27" i7 machine with 12Gb Ram.

I have noticed the machine slowing recently and after I posted here last night I removed a ton of old startup items and applications no longer required. I also performed an SMC and PRAM reset just incase any of those would help. I'll turn it back on later and see how it's running.

Ok, Back home and turned my machine on again and the memory pressure is much lower and constantly green. Seems like the combination of everything I did seems to have helped the situation.

If it develops I will post a screen of Activity Monitor.
