High pitched noise since 10.8.3

Since I updated OS X to 10.8.3 I've noticed a constant high-pitched noise or whine coming from the top right corner (seen from the front) of my 27"-iMac.

Has anyone else noticed this or have any theories of what it might be and how it might be remedied?
