High pitched noise through iMac's internal Mic.

iMac CD 1.8 here. W/e using my iMacs internal Mic I get a really high pitched noise on the recording. I'm assuming its from the computer. Is it normal or should I get it fixed?

You are getting feedback. Go into the sound prefs pane and turn the mic level down.

I put the input on the lowest possible before it stop hearing me talk and it still has the sound going

Are you using the isight as well?
