Okay, so title. I finally played around with high power mode for the first time in a few months. When I first got the machine in April of 2022, I noticed that even in high power mode, when both the cpu and gpu were being pushed at the same time, it would power limit to like 75-80 watts and limit the clock speed of the gpu. Thus high power mode would make the machine cooler. Now, with high power mode engaged, the machine can sustain about 85 watts of performance. Anyone else noticed an improvement in high power mode through recent mac os updates? Running the latest version of Monterey.
