Hi,I mostly watch 720p movies - tv shows on my new macbook pro but the video quality of these is not good on VLC on my mac,I get much better,cleaner display on my Lenovo notebook which uses windows 7 but that notebook is way below my mac so any suggestions?

Long on question, short on details. Problem could be anything from the way they're encoded to the resolution you're running at to your hardware itself.
