Hi I am sick of the HP 23 inch monitor. I want to upgrade it to a 22 or 23 inch LED backlit monitor, the trouble is I don't seem to find one of the size with higher then 1920x1080 resolution, I am wondering what is the highest resolution for a monitor of this size? is 1920x1080 the highest it gets? My main monitor is a 27"
2560x1440, it's awesome, I want a 22/23 inch that can match the same resolution.

TIA

I have seen 22/23" monitors up to 1920x1200 and nothing further, but they are quite pricey and specifically designed for colour accurate workflows.

E.g.

May I ask why you're looking for something like that?

Well, the 23 HP has only 1920x1080 and it's getting old, it has a yellow tint to it so I lost the color accuracy. So I figure I will get a new one of the similar size but get the highest resolution possible. :)

There just aren't many displays manufactured between those resolutions - 1920 x 1080, or 2560 x 1440. Your 27" monitor has a DPI of around 108, so to get the same sharpness you want something that ends up close to that.

Just about the only one I can think of is the 23" Samsung 2343BW, at 2048 x 1152, so around 102 dpi. But, it's discontinued so hard to find.

To get the equivalent sharpness in a 1920x1080, look for something in the 20.5" - 21.5" size range.
