hi i have mac running on high sierra 10.13.2 firstly i have to go to and force quit safari i have to do this each time before i close down mac because if i don't do this before shut down.If i do this every time the mac starts up fine every time BUT
If i just close the mac down without doing above when it starts up i get a white line in middle that runs across very slowly i mean slowly before it starts and sometimes it gets stuck near the end and i have to force shut down and hope it starts up correctly this had been happening since the new high sierra update was done
ive tried to force enable trim but it don't happen ive checked after wards, ive used the safe mode it runs great for a while then goes back to above problems, ive checked i have not start ups in my system preferences can anyone shed any light please

My next suggestion was going to be to restore your mac to the 10.13.1 when it worked ok but if you don't have any back up you cannot do that.

I can't really help you but if you have learnt anything from this it is that you really need a back up system in place. Mac provides you with Time Machine, all you need is an external storage device and your mac can be backed up to it every hour automatically.

I hope you get your problem fixed and when you do - get it backed up.
