I am trying to update my Mac Mini to High Sierra, but haven't been able to Get it downloaded. I have a very slow internet connection, and when it starts downloading, it says it will take three days. As if this isn't bad enough, it quits downloading after a half hour or so. I thought maybe I could download it onto my Macbbook Pro and a flash drive at work, but my my laptop is a mid 2009 model and the app store won't download to it. Short of packing up my mini and monitor and dragging it to work, is there any other way to get a copy of High Sierra to install?

As another legal version, Apple suggests to do the update at an Apple Store (see https://www.apple.com/macos/how-to-upgrade/, at the middle of the page); not sure if they still sell USB-sticks with it...
