high sierra slow download on mac app store?

i was wondering if the download is slow for everyone because I've been downloading it for about an hour and so far the download hasn't really moved?

Painfully slow here. Going 3 hours now with “22 hours” left. My internet connection isn’t the issue

Had the same prob. Just switched my DNS to google, 8.8.8.8, went up to full speed. Seemed to be the fix for me.

Edit to add: Just realized I was downloading Sierra (not High) from Mac App store. Could be different for me using the 20MB app that High Sierra uses.

Same issue here. 300Mbps Comcast, yet download is taking over 12 hours.
