High Sierra slows Macbook 12 to crawl

Hi,

I did an in-place upgrade from Sierra to H Sierra and now my Macbook 12' 2015 1.3ghz laptop was noticeably slower when booting, opening up apps, and shutdown.

Boot time takes about twice as long as it did even when I did a clean install.

There is a general lag I did not notice before.

I erased the SSD before clean install of High Sierra.

Is this happening to you?
