I'm on High Sierra 10.13.5 and would like to upgrade to Mojave PB 2. I enrolled my Mac and downloaded Mojave installer from the app store, but when I opened on the installers package contents, I found out its build number is 18A314j which is PB 1. Why is the installer still PB 1 when PB 2 is available?

I just did the exact same thing - upgrade from HS to Mojave.

After I finished and saw you post - I realized it was not the latest version and am now installing a huge update - 2.7g

Not sure if there is a combo update or if "because it is Beta" you have to do each update in series?

previous betas I have been enrolled in have had the latest version when joining later so that you would only have to update once. I am still waiting with Mojave at the moment since I need stability for the coming months.

yeah and as far as I can tell (public beta version here) the file disappears after the install - so if you want to do multiple installs - it needs to be downloaded again for the next install and specific mac.
