High Sierra vs El Capitan battery life

I'm using a 2013 Retina Macbook and recently updated to High Sierra.

I've noticed a small increase in animation speed but also battery life seems to be reduced about 10%

Anyone experiencing the same or is it just me?

Considering going back to El Cap
