Hi guys,

Today I've done my first time Time Machine backup, normally my macbook will stay around 40--50 degree when I was checking websites and watching movies..However I just noticed that the temperature climbed up to 70 degree when the time machine was working..

Is that normal? A little bit concern about it..

Cheers!

i know during the initial prep for backup it can take a lot of work.

was it throughout the entire backup?

Forgot to mention that when the macbook reached 70 Safari and RealPlayer were also opened besides TM..

After first 20G, the temperature dropped a little bit, 60--65 ish..
