I was checking the internet usage from my Ubiquiti statistics, and my AW2 traffic caught my eye.. I wonder what was it doing. Old Apple Watch 2, was on some version older than current WatchOS until yesterday. Several TB downloaded in a few days? I have a 1000/100Mbit/s internet connection. It is slow to update automatically as I wear the AW2 at nights and AW5 during days with auto-switch on so it is rarely on charger while connected to my phone. I had to stop auto-switch to upgrade. The traffic seems to happen when it is charging. Can’t be backup with that much data.
I hope this stopped now with the newer WatchOS. I wonder if this was a known issue with some older WatchOS version. Or is it just the Ubiquiti statistics that are bonkers, I would not be surprised..
