I was looking to replace the rechargeable battery in my beard trimmer. Currently it uses a 1.2V NiMH 1200mAH AA size rechargeable battery. I just wanted to confirm that no harm would come from using a rechargeable 2100mAH 1.2V NiMH AA size battery for longer run times.

As it is the same type of battery and voltage I cannot think of any reason why it would be a fire hazard but figured I'd get a second opinion.

As long as it fits you shouldn't have a problem running a battery with a higher mAH. I have a battery in my phone that is 3X the factory mAH level, granted its about twice the size, but it runs fine, and runs a LOT longer. Should be fine to upgrade it.
