Has anyone seen a G3 or higher in the "wild"? I personally have not, but was wondering if anyone had made it that far.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5A347 Safari/525.20)

You'd need an awful lot of free time to get there but I'm sure someone has hit that. I just haven't seen anyone like that. You'd have a substantial percentage of the 5 million plus posts here if you were a G3 or higher as well.

Mad Jew did, but then he became a Mod so his ranking became hidden.

Mad Jew -- we are calling you out! How many posts did you accumulate?!

Right. 10,000 and over is a ridiculous huge number of posts. Its almost silly to even think about.

Yes, I just looked up Mad Jew -- HUGE NUMBER. It truly is impressive.

Yep, although no one has seen much of him lately... I am up there as well however I am "only" a 604, technically. ;) :D

Fact is, normally when someone becomes that active of a member here on MacRumors, they contribute to the site, become a Demi-God / Mod if asked, and thus their user title shifts from their processor ranking to one of the above.

I cant even imagine how long that will take. I am having trouble trying to get to 1000 posts!

You've gotta want it! Set goals!

I had a personal trainer to get me from 250 to 600. Need to be at 1k before 2009.

/runs to the "gym"

Just be careful. Posting for the sake of posting will be noticed by the Mods and people have been banned before for spamming.

Quality, not quantity - post when you have something worthwhile to add to a discussion. (And yes I realize the beautiful irony of posting this when considering my post count :p  )

this is the most important thing to remember, and cannot be stressed enough, really. and yes i know i'm guilty of having a high post count too.

and this thread might be of interest too.

You will notice that most high post count members have been on MacRumors for a few years. It just adds up over time. :)

Exactly.

To the OP, I think that you will find most of those with high post counts have contributed to the site by helping others.

Really? Inquiring minds want to know. :p

but most of the people with really high post totals have been a member here for a long time though, but people like mad jew still have over 20 posts a day!
