I recently had to re-installed Mavericks on my rMBP (2013) and ever since I keep getting annoyed by a seemingly harmless but patience-testing little thing:
Now, when I try to highlight text with the cursor and then go to type over it, the new character also remains highlighted, causing every new letter to be the only one remaining. It only goes away when I tab out of the text-entry.
It looks like this:
I never had this behaviour on my previous install so it must be a setting that I cannot for the life of me remember. Help?
