Just took AP US History today, and I have AP Psychology on monday
Took the AP Euro exam last year
Next year, I will have AP French, AP Gov and AP Comparitive, AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus
mmm ap euro history. the memories of that horrible, horrible class. and the decent score i got (love review books..)
I thank the gods I no longer have to take AP classes or exams ever again (and to be honest, I'd rather take the classes at uni than take the AP classes, even though APs are usually cheaper... if only they weren't practically an admissions requirement for a lot of good unis nowadays)
My teacher spent like 5 years teaching us evolution (which I understand is important but I could care less about it). Additionally, she never taught us Fungi because she doesn't like it (seriously thats what she said). Furthermore we went through animal classification, immune, muscle, and nervous system in like a week. Additionally, we didn't do anything past the nervous and muscular system. I would assume there is also digestive and reproduction too.
I'm a junior and my school has a very limited amount of AP courses and instead offers more honors courses. For instance i took my school's Environmental Science course but they downgraded it to Honors because they had a new teacher and the course was like not meeting the College Board requirements... Plus i took our economics course which is a semester honors, but it was as difficult or harder than what AP would have been so i don't know why they don't offer it as AP...
Anyway This year i just took Euro, i could have taken Latin 4 Vergil but i was too lazy / my teacher is absolutely horrible so i knew i wouldn't be prepped from the onset of the school year
Last year i took US History and got a 4.
Next year i'm looking at English Lit and World Art History.
For anyone taking AP Bio this year (I know the test is monday haha) or next I must suggest that Cliff Notes AP Biology test prep is very good. I also have the Barron one but its not good at explaining things and I think it leaves some vital things out. Cliff Notes has some really bad and overwhelming looking diagrams but if you spend enough time looking at them they make sense.
The hardest 2 topics for me are Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration just because there are so many steps and "items" (for lack of a better word) in the processes
Took the AP US History---not to bad I have to say, the DBQ was easy in my opinion
Getting ready to take the AP Bio test tommorow, I really should get to sleep
And then I have AP Psych on Tuesday---I am really worried about that, since it was independent study and I did very, very little work in that class
