I like going under the "Free" section of Craigslist. Ever want to pick up 50 pounds of free sand? Or maybe an old mobile home? That's your place to go. There's a lot of random funny interesting crap there.

That nano is a ripoff, good luck kid.

The other person is a scammer/idiot/both.

Wirelessly posted (Sausage: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

I know on my CL loacation they always overprice old g3s and g4s. $200 for a 700 MHz emac? Please...

There is consistently one person who makes adds for various laptops at $500 cheaper then the going price in the Orange County CL. And then you email her/him, and she explains how she is now in the UK and yada yada yada. I've emailed her/him at least 10 different times asking about different items. I find it comical how hard they try to scam people.

If you were to upgrade your G3 with a 1.0ghz G3 from powerlogix, and then install a powerful cooling system and overclock the CPU, it might be possible to achieve a 1.7ghz G3. You can also run XP on a G3 with an emulator like Virtual PC from Microsoft.

Obviously the guy is a scam, I'm just saying it is theoretically possible.

Best of Craigslist is good, but I think the OP wanted Apple-related ones. :) I just saw one the other day where a fellow was trying to sell/trade his 22 inch iMac. Must be confused as to if he has a 20 or a 24 inch eh? LOL.
