hinge creak noise

after i close my screen an pick up the MBP from the back an my hand touches the hinge, it makes a little creak noise, this normal?

is the hinge just adjusting or something. the hinge only does it when i touch the back of the hinge , like when i pick up the MBP.

how is the hinge attached to the screen.

I think this has been discussed before, but yea mine does that too.

My uMBP does this too and it's loud. I was told by Apple that it was a cosmetic issue.
