Hinge/ lcd assemble problem

hi,

I just took a quick look at the hinge on my macbook pro and it seems as the rubber between the hindge and the lcd assembly is peeling off. Did anybody notice this on theirs macbook also? I just got the display replaced by apple 2 months ago for the stain issue.

I could change it on warranty, but i'm wondering if the rubber has any important fonction, could the laptop be less sealed to dust and drops of liquid?
