Hinge Problem on late 2013 27" iMac

I was just given this model iMac to replace my 2009 27" iMac. The hinge is very loose and just make the screen point downwards. How much would this cost me to be repaired at the Apple Store? Is there a recall of some sort?

Yes apple had a recall for the plastic hinge for imacs 2012 and 2013

I think since most of us tilt our screens to avoid glare from local lighting, I have given up on any repair and have pushed the screen down past vertical, rather than up past vertical, and have achieved the same result. No glare, and it won't fall any further down.

It's not worth two 50 mile round trips for me to unhook, and leave it there for whatever time, Thanks.

Oh I see. As for me, the earliest reservation I got is 15 miles away. But I had to walk like two blocks since parking is scarce around the area. Sharp edges hurted my fingers carrying it that long. All worth it for me, it bothered me having a $2000+ machine with a loose/hanging display.
