Very cool stuff, but too pricey for just a casual look. But the fact that its updated daily would be a great thing to see the progression of the war - maybe when its all over they'll release some of the better images.

One very interesting bit - The only off-limits spot on the planet isn't even inside the United States. In 1997, Congress blocked U.S. companies from photographing Israel at a resolution higher than 2 meters. - now why would they do that?!?

D

Israel is only 10 miles wide at some points and most of it is within easy range of rocket attack from its adversaries.

Imagery like that would make it easier to target high-value military installations with low-tech, low-cost rockets.

There are other nations to whom such imagery would be equally dangerous.

Sure- but are they close personal friends with the U.S. Congress, like Israel is?

Isreal has some... inside information about things americas wouldn't like to hear... like tapes... and documents... lets say Isreal's Spy team is top notch.

They get many 'favors' for these bits of info.

I have proof that Israel is ten miles wide at points. Do you have proof to back up your assertions?

Are you saying that Israel could possibly be doing something wrong? What are you, some kind of Jew hater? Some kind of Nazi?

:)
