Hello all.

Just received an Apple Watch 6, and I notice a really annoying “hissing” white noise sound when making or receiving a call on the watch.

I’m sure this is not normal, as I had an Apple Watch 6 before, which I returned.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Can anyone advise?

As it stands, I’m just going to return it, but I’d rather not go through all of the hassle.

Thanks in advance.

Has the watch been exposed to water? Although it should be able to handle some of that.

What happens when you either lower or increases the volume on the watch when listening to the call? I don't think it sounds normal, but I guess it depends on what quality you expect from the watch. But I haven't heard any hissing noises on my watch when talking a call, but not the best quality either. Usually I take the call and tell the other person to hang on while I get my phone and take the call there.

He told me in a different thread, that he had returned the watch.
