Hit rMBP Screen

At the weekend one of my daughters threw something and it hit the screen of my rMBP, the screen, cosmetically looks fine but now there are horizontal lines all over the screen, can anyone suggest what might be going on here, although I may know what I just need to know where to go from here??

Your display is busted. You're going to have to replace your entire display clamshell which is not going to be cheap.
