I found a Hitachi 500GB hard drive for my Macbook,
I was wondering if it is any good considering that the price is so low.
Anyone heard of it? Reviews anyone?

Yeah, I replaced my hard drive on my old MacBook with a Hitachi drive and it was just as good as any other drive to be honest lol. It really looks to be like a good deal and quite bargain. Sorry though, I haven't seen any reviews on it. Hope I could help!

I recommend getting a ssd , way better than any hdd
I would say that would be a good recommendation if the SSD wasn't significantly higher priced, 512GB from newegg is going to run you $1599, even 256GB is $500+. If you need that much space I'd still be getting a HDD and 90 is a decent price but not too much lower than others seeing it is only a 5400rpm drive.

Thats true, if you dont use alot of space then ssd is your choice, i got a 10 year old computer which am going to upgrade, and this one has only 20 hdd lol i learn how to live with a small space so sdd will be perfect for me :D
