It's been awhile since I looked at drives.....
3 years ago, Hitachi was the best when it came down to 7200 rpm drives. Looking to get a 500GB 7200 RPM drive as my secondary storage to supplement the SSD OS/APP drive.

Feedback on the Hitachis as opposed to the current WD's...

Ha, I'd throw a velocirator into it, but it would probably kill my battery....

based off current trends, i would say that the WD drives to have the edge over the hitachis now - which a lot of people have had bad experiences with.

i vote for WD :)
