HITACHI Vs SAMSUNG

Hi i had 2 questions

1) Can someone help me in choosing between the 2

1) Hitachi 42PD8900TA
2) Sasmsung Bordeux 40 inch

2) the Hitachi is a Plasma while samsung LCD.. Although ppl are saying LCD is the future but i feel LCD if viewed from slightly close shows bad picture...
I already have a Sasung Bordeux 40 inch , looking to buy a second TV but cant choose bwtwwen the 2

Can someone help Plz....
