Has anyone here seen this bug? I got this brand new in Dec,18. Just started to notice this last month. I thought it was a carrier issue, but then saw this post in apple: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8610634

“Once you get data on the phone test out to see if you can hold a data call on cellular with two sims in. My WhatsApp and FaceTime calls keep dropping. You can see the second sim bars drop and that’s when you lose data on the first sim. My temp fix for now is to only put one sim in the phone which defeats the purpose of having a two sim iPhone.”

I’ve found nothing more online... the only way I’ve found to deal with this, is to turn off my second line. Then the dropping stops...

I live in Mexico and have an AT&T Mexican sim as main one, and a US Verizon sim as the second line.

Any ideas? Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks!

Well, turns out the only way to prevent this drop off is to manually select the operator, for both sims. With this, I’ve had no disconnections at all. I’m glad it worked, but it’s amazing apple hasn’t fixed this...
