This may be a retarded question, but I can't figure out if my Unibody 13" macbook pro can burn DVDs or not.... even my old ass PC could, I am assuming that this drive can, even though it's not a superdrive.

I mean it says:

DVD-Write: -R, -R DL, -RW, +R, +R DL, +RW
Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, CD-Raw, DVD-DAO

Someone just set me straight, thanks.

As listed in your post, it can write to -R, -R DL, -RW, +R, +R DL and +RW media. In other words, pretty much all of them.

k thanks i was just having some errors with burning an image but i guess that was due to the nature of what i was trying to burn, not its burning capabilities.

What type of DVD were you using? Some cheap DVD's simply don't burn well, especially if they are D/L.
