So, I was looking in the Apple store to check prices. I looked at the refurbs, then the refurb section of the Educational Store. The prices of the items were the same, but the % and 'savings' were adjusted to give different amounts. I just found this to be odd, not good or bad, just interesting. Maybe there is some logic to this I don't see. :confused:

You caught them dude! Raise the suggested retail price and call it a bigger sale... Marketing 101. They just need to get their story straight!
 
Maybe:

A refurb in the normal Mac store is discounted vs. its normal non-refurb price.

A refurb in the Education store is discounted vs. its Education-discount price.

In the latter case, the savings would seem less. That would appear to be what's going on. There's just no additional "Education" discount on refurbs.
