Hmm, My Apple Paranoia Rumor Story

Hello,

The date is Janurary the 7th, and here is my light hearted conspiracy theory.

Brief details of todays technical events for me:

• I have purchased a Sony 43" Plasma HD Display
• My Powerbook has gone from normally supporting a maximum 2 hours battery, has dropped to about 30 minutes on full charge.
• My Powerbook's keyboard doesn't seem to like me typing fast anymore, keys have started getting stuck.
• My DVD drive keeps on randomly ejecting CDs.

To flesh this further:

I have saved for a long while to purchase a new G5 or iMac G5 as my dedicated Music Workstation to install in my studio (along with the plasma and a 20" Apple Display I have purchased.

And now there are rumors of a plasma screen with Mac OS X abilities, so some kind of Mac Mini / iMac G5 (or the lovely Intel Inside / HD Plamsa hybrid. So basically exactly what I need.

So my conslusion, maybe Apple in this situation has developed some sort of AppleScript based intelligence system that monitors us, and then develops products that we would really want.

Also, How did Apple know that I get paid on the 9th of January, and my new credit card arrives on the 10th? This could get expensive!

Any ideas?

Addiction? I suppose, last summer was an addiction, then winter brought a cold and smoking was out of the question. Then Christmas came and well, as a student, I have been celebrating in style Christmas ends on the 9th for me Then, I have a load of work to do. Back to plain old Marlboro then.

Hey Ensign, good to hear from you.

I'm waiting for that Mac mini/Media Center hybrid... I have an Elgato Eyehome that is just a little too non-Apple-esque for me to stand, although it works well. As long as the Apple version is under $500 and supports a H.264, I'll let them pry my money from my hands.
