Ho do I change iTunes import setting?

So, I must have clicked the wrong button...now when I sync my iPhone, any new apps, disappear from my phone and don't transfer to my mac...poof! Gone While, I know I can just DL from iTunes from my home computer, I don't sync very often and I don't keep track of what I have purchased since. Also, the data loss is frustrating.

Can I change this setting somewhere?

Do you have your apps on the phone right now that you want? Or are they in your iTunes? I can help you if you tell me what you are missing and which device, and where they are currently appearing.
