I use a more advanced version of the Hoefler Text font than ships with Mac OS X. In Leopard, this worked perfectly—however, following the upgrade to Snow Leopard the font refuses to work properly, rendering everything except Regular, Italic, Black and Black italic as symbols and capitals with negative tracking.

First I thought this was a problem with my copy but I soon realised this was happening to other people (http://ask.metafilter.com/131463/Really-weird-Snow-Leopard-font-problem) too. I really need this font so simply living without it isn't an option.

It is worth noting that this only seems to happen in iWork—Fontbook renders it perfectly.

I am using iWork 09.

Please help me out with this.

Thank you in advance.
