iPod Hold Switch/Lock App?

Hello, new here.

My hold switch/lock button does not work. I was hoping I could find a simple app that when touched locks the screen. id there anything like this? All i can find so far are apps for customizing the look of the lock screen. very frustrating!

There might be a toggle for SBSettings, have a look in cydia.

There's a dedicated iPod touch forum by the way.
