holding off till gmaps on 6.1?

Hey,

I am holding off on upgrading to 6.0.1, mainly due to the lack of a native google maps app.

however given the news, I am wondering how the map substitutes are for the wonky apple map app. how is "Maps+ app" and "Quick Route" compared to the native google map app?

specifically, how are these map apps in NYC?
