Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm providing music for a few events in the next two weeks. I'm limiting the holiday music to about 30 minutes. My playlist so far (in order):

It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas-Michael Buble
White Christmas-Bing Crosby
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree-Brenda Lee
Jingle Bell Rock-Elvis Presley
Chanukah Song-Adam Sandler
Santa Baby-Glee Cast
Mistletoe-Justin Bieber
All I Want For Christmas Is You-Mariah Carey

Any further suggestions for holiday music?

That you're missing anything by Sinatra is a crime. Also Johnny Mathis' "We Need a Little Christmas" is a must or, if not that track, anything by Mathis. Tony Bennett "Winter Wonderland" would be a good addition.

White Christmas by Bingo is always a standby, but why not go old school? White Christmas is so pedestrian. Everyone thinks its from the movie of the same title. But go back a couple of years to 1942. White Christmas was actually first introduced in "Holiday Inn." So the title track to that movie, "Happy Holidays" is actually a great choice. Crosby does at least 4 different versions of Happy Holidays. Pick which one works for you

i would not leave out "Baby it's Cold Outside" by Dean Martin. Finally "The Most Wonderul Time of the Year," by Andy Williams would be a good choice. Also, if you're feeling saucy, work in a little ditty by Robert Goulet.

Last Christmas - George Michael

Are you mary x mas? - sun 60

On second thought just use Pandora on a Christmas station. You're set.

thank you for all the suggestions!

happy holidays everyone. :)

Mannheim and TSO are always staples, of course, but they are also getting repetetive.

Alternatives to Mannheim/TSO:
Arctic Express
Elu
Nox Arcana.

On the vocalist front, along with the oldies like Sinatra's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", I throw in songs like Faith Hill's "Where Are You Christmas", which I think is wonderfully touching.

And I always toss in some fun stuff like:
"You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch"
"Have a Holly Jolly Christmas"
"Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol". (If you've ever seen it, you'll remember the songs "We're Despicable" and "The Lord's Bright Blessing".)

What "vibe" are you going for? It would appear you want a mix of old and new?

Some cool modern stuff would be:

Santa Baby - Everclear
What Christmas Means to Me - Hanson
Christmastime in Tinseltown Again - Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Christmas in Hollis - RUN DMC

There's so much old stuff to mention it's almost overwhelming. I'm a DJ, feel free to shoot me a PM and I can send you some playlists. :)

Run Rudolph Run - Chuck Berry
12 Pains of Christmas - ?

And yeah, I echo what another poster said, the Christmas station on Pandora is really great. I plan to use that for my house party on the 17th.
