I have seen some conflicting information regarding the Holiday return policy at the Apple Store. It says that Online Orders received after November 10th can be returned through January 8th, which seems pretty straightforward. I am interpreting it to mean that purchases made in the physical Apple Store still fall under the standard 14-day return policy...no confusion there.
However, what if you purchased the computer online (through the Apple web site) and choose the "Pick Up in Store" option during checkout? Technically, it is now an online order and should fall under the extended Holiday return policy, but since you are still buying from "in-store" inventory, it seems it may also fall under the standard 14-day rule.
Does anybody know which side of the fence this purchase would fall on? Thanks!
