I have seen some conflicting information regarding the Holiday return policy at the Apple Store. It says that Online Orders received after November 10th can be returned through January 8th, which seems pretty straightforward. I am interpreting it to mean that purchases made in the physical Apple Store still fall under the standard 14-day return policy...no confusion there.

However, what if you purchased the computer online (through the Apple web site) and choose the "Pick Up in Store" option during checkout? Technically, it is now an online order and should fall under the extended Holiday return policy, but since you are still buying from "in-store" inventory, it seems it may also fall under the standard 14-day rule.

Does anybody know which side of the fence this purchase would fall on? Thanks!

In store and online are eligible for the extended return.. I purchased a MacBook Pro in store a few days ago and the return date printed on my receipt is Jan 8, 2017..

Hope that helps..

Very interesting...thanks for the info. I just picked up my MBP at the local Apple Store (but ordered online) and I don't see a return date printed on either the pickup confirmation or the online invoice/receipt.

"Holiday Return Policy
Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between November 10, 2016 and December 25, 2016, may be returned through January 8, 2017. Please note that all other terms and conditions provided in the Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy are still applicable with respect to such items purchased. All purchases made after December 25, 2016 are subject to the Standard Return Policy."
