Hi All,

Hoping for a bit of wisdom from the iPhone helpers on here.

I'm off on holiday soon, and obviously taking my phone. However, I don't want to get charged for 3G or GPRS or EDGE whilst abroad, as it costs me extra. I'll be using it for checking email via wireless in the hotel but thats it.

What do I need to swtich off to make sure its not searching for connection and trying to download stuff and costing me a load of money?!

So far I have:

- Push Email - never check

I have a 16gb iPhone, not jailbroken, not unlocked.

Settings > General > Network. Turn Data Roaming to "off". That's it.
