Holidays/Websites where I could get a good deal on a PS3?

Hey all,
so I want to get a PS3, but all the places that list them for $300 are out of stock right now
Are there any holidays coming up in the u.s. where stores are likely to give deals on stuff? Someone told me about something called black friday, but that was way back in november

if there aren't any holidays, does anyone have a recommendation for a good site that will sell it cheap but won't screw me over on quality or return conditions?

I rarely see deals for game consoles. Usually the best thing you'll see is packaged box sets which includes the console and a game (or an extra controller). I don't think I've ever seen a PS3 for less than $299, even on boxing day. But I haven't been looking (I bought my PS3 when it came out for $599!)

I'd just spend $299. It's great system and can be used for a ton of things besides gaming.

Your best bet is either eBay or Craigslist as most retail stores will sell it for $299.99
